Our Story
Be the Bean exists to cultivate people who transform their environments with character, courage, and compassion — rooted in faith, strengthened by community, and committed to leading with purpose wherever they are planted.
Be the Bean is a movement, a mindset, and a community. Inspired by the powerful idea that the coffee bean doesn’t get changed by the water — it changes the water — we exist to help people become leaders who influence culture instead of being shaped by it.
We gather people who want to grow, who want to contribute, and who believe in showing up fully — in their workplaces, in their families, and in their communities. We are men and women from all walks of life who desire deeper connection, stronger character, and a life marked by intentional impact.
WHO
we are becoming
We believe ordinary people become extraordinary leaders when they are rooted in faith, surrounded by community, and committed to growth.
Our dream is to see Be the Bean chapters growing across the country, creating pockets of hope, character, and leadership wherever they meet.
When we gather, the room feels alive — warm, encouraging, purpose-filled, Spirit-led, and full of possibility.
People leave filled, strengthened, sharpened, and inspired to bring light into the places they live, work, and serve.
What
Makes us different
We are a movement.
Be the Bean isn't a club, a class, or a cute idea. It’s a spirit-led leadership movement built around people — real people — who want to grow, connect, and make their world better.
We lead from the heart.
Leadership here isn’t about titles — it’s about character, humility, courage, and becoming the kind of person who lifts the room when they walk in.
We keep faith at the center.
Gently, naturally, and authentically — we talk about purpose and calling in a way that is welcoming, not religious; spiritual, not “churchy”; sacred, not stiff.
We create connection that actually matters.
This is networking where people remember your name, your story, and your heart — not just your business card.
We build a culture people crave.
A culture of encouragement, honesty, belonging, joy, accountability, and growth — where strangers become friends and friends become community.
We offer structure that strengthens.
Thoughtfully designed monthly gatherings, reflective prompts, guided conversations, shared stories, and practical tools that help people rise — not just attend.
We think generationally.
Every meeting, every story, every act of courage creates ripples — in homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and entire cities.
We Create Impact.
We're not here to impress, instead we create a rippling effect of impact.
We Change Atmospheres.
We're not here to host events.
We Build Leaders.
We're not here to build followers.
WHY
it
matters
Hunger for connection, purpose and community.
People today are hungry — for meaning, for connection, for purpose, for community that isn’t shallow or transactional.
They’re tired of pretending.
They’re tired of carrying heavy things alone.
They’re tired of living small, safe, or disconnected.
Be the Bean steps into that gap.
We create a space where people feel seen, strengthened, and supported — where faith feels natural, where leadership feels attainable, and where growth feels exciting.
Every time we gather, something shifts:
Hearts soften.
Courage rises.
Hope rekindles.
People remember who they are — and who God called them to be.
And when they leave, they carry that light with them…
into their homes, their workplaces, their friendships, their decisions, their impact.
When one person becomes the bean, the whole community gets better.
That is why it matters.
